NITE creates interdisciplinary, energetic and innovative theatre. Performances are energetic, musical and hyper topical. NITE is one of the four major theatre companies in the ‘basic infrastructure’ (BIS). The company is at the forefront of the sector-wide change towards innovation and broadening within theatre.

At NITE, together with our ensemble, we create performances that attract young, diverse and new audiences. Most of our performances are multilingual and ‘language no problem’, as we tour with surtitles.

We tell New NITE Stories; new stories from society that are not naturally told on the big stages. Stories of people who are not naturally listened to. New stories instead of old stories in a new jacket. Permanent makers are Rebekka Nilsson, Mart van Berckel and artistic director Guy Weizman. In the coming years, new makers will be added, and we guide them in a multi-year trajectory in making performances for the large theater halls.

At NITE, together with our regular ensemble, we create performances that attract young, diverse and new audiences.
